Fun for the Under 5's in our play area!
The Under 5's Play Area is shared by the cottages onsite. You book on arrival. So you have your own exclusive use of the play area, for your cottages' own private use.
Here at Alkington Grange Barns, we have made sure you are supplied with as much of the equipment you need for your little ones during your stay with us. From Travel Cots, High Chairs & Stairgates to Plastic cups, bowls, plates & cutlery.
We have also put some books in each barn to help entertain them as there is always time for a Bedtime Story!
All this, as well as our fantastic facilities of
Indoor Pool, Under 5's Play Area, Woodland Picnic Site, lots of fun
walks and
adventures to be had, to tire them out!!

Easy To Book
Our outside Toddler Play Area, is for 5's and under and is filled with plenty of ride on toys, including Bubble Cars, Tractors, bikes and much more.
There is a small slide, rocking horses & a Fantastic Castle to keep them busy and to help tire them out!!!
(Please note type and amount of toys may vary from season to season.)
How it Works
Booking the Under 5's Play Area is very simple and is done via a Booking Board System, which is divided into time slots.
There are plenty of time slots through the day which gives all our cottages a fair chance to enjoy this great space.
We are also supplying spray and wipes to keep the toys germ free!
As Easy as 1,2,3....
So, simply on arrival to Alkington Grange Barns go to the Booking Board Building:
1) Decide which days you would like to play.
2) Choose the times you would like to play.
3) Write the name of your barn in the days/times slots you choose.
Then use the play area exclusively to yourselves.
Children must be supervised at ALL times by a responsible Adult.
(We do not pre book play area time slots prior to arrival)
